Identity claims

Anyone can launch a token, but nobody can speak for you. When a token reserves a public handle, control and creator fees are held in escrow until the real owner of that account proves it. Claims are checked server-side against the live public proof URL — a claim cannot be approved from the browser.

How a claim resolves

  • Pending — proof submitted, server has not found the code at the URL yet. The token stays flagged as unaffiliated.
  • Verified — the proof code was found at the public URL. Control and escrowed creator fees transfer to the claimant, and the token shows a verified owner badge.
  • Rejected — the code was not present or the URL did not belong to the reserved handle. Rejected claimants gain nothing and the token remains locked.
